Grant Hodges is Visual Arts Program Coordinator of Bazil Grumble and brings a wealth
of knowledge and experience to our Ceramic Arts program. Grant has an Advanced Diploma
Visual Arts - Ceramics and is a professional practicing Ceramic Artist specializing
in the field of Wood fired Ceramics. Grant has exhibited in both solo and group

aspects of their classroom practice.

Our latest project is an art built in community mosaic project in regional Queensland
at Miles State School. The mosaic was designed in consultation with the school community
and then created and installed by the students of the school with Grant's guidance.
This mosaic project is a permanent record of the achievements of the staff and students
and, through its design, reflects the key aspects of the community.
Bazil Grumble also offers workshops for schools, festivals and community organizations
in areas including large wheel throwing, found object sculpture and wood fired sculpture
kilns.
Bazil Grumble can tailor its ceramics program including Workshops, Professional
Development Programs, Art Built in and Community Designed Mosaic Projects to your
needs. Commissions (small or large scale) are welcome.
