Creation and communication in term two drama!

Wow! What a fantastic start to term two Bazil Grumble drama! It’s been a busy couple of weeks as the students have settled into classes, and started to look forward to the end of term showcases.

An integral part of this term’s work is the contributions of the students in devising an exciting showcase for family and friends. The children have accepted this task with vigour and enthusiasm, with all of our teachers have commented on the high level of creation in each of the classes.

“The class was really wonderful today! The students were focused the entire lesson and it was really lovely that everyone had the opportunity to offer their input.” – Rebecca, Yeronga State School Masterclass teacher

“I was so proud of my class this week. They have all been so generous and caring towards each other. I’ve been so happy to see the students use positive language in their dealings with each other, and are very encouraging of everyone’s contributions.” – Heidi, Windsor State School Superstars teacher

We have even received some incredibly lovely feedback from parents this term, who have taken the time to let us know how their child is progressing:

“Our daughter has gained so much out of attending Bazil Grumble, and I can see a direct link with her confidence in speaking to a large group!” – Parent, Wilston State School

As we move through the term, the students will start to block their end of term showcase and continue to learn lines, while also continue learning exciting improvisation and characterisation techniques. We’re so excited to see all of the hard work culminate in each of the showcases!

Don’t forget to make note in your diary of your child’s end of term showcase date. You can view all of the dates by clicking here.
