Before we launch into term three, our teaching staff having been reflecting on term two and our performances. The students worked hard developing their skills all semester and it was definitely worth it. All of our teaching staff are extremely proud of their students:
“The students worked really hard all term and they had oodles of confidence during the performance” Miss Jess H, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Superstars.
“Before starting their dress rehearsal, I mentioned to the students that I was going to say a little speech about what they have been learning. The students started calling out suggestions like “projection”, “characterisation”, “tone”, “pitch”. I was very impressed with how they remembered the drama terminology we have been using throughout the term” Miss Amelia, Coorparoo Masterclass.
“During the performance, everything seemed to work so smoothly. The students remembered all their cues and the audience were very happy! In particular, the squirrel scene with the addition of squirrel puppets was adorable and the final pose with confetti cannons looked fantastic! This was perhaps the best performance I’ve witnessed since being a part of Bazil Grumble, and I hope it can only go up from here! Very proud of my class.” Miss Jess S, Surfers Paradise Superstars
