We are very excited to announce that in Semester 1, 2020 we will focus on the playful and hopeful Dr. Seuss classic The Lorax. In this cautionary rhyming tale, we learn of the Once-ler who harvests all the trees and thus changes the landscape forever. Exploring this theme will creatively educate the children about the importance of seeing the beauty in the world around us and how we all have a responsibility to protect it. In term 1, students will focus on exploring the themes of the play to develop their speech and drama skills. In a fun and supportive learning environment, students will learn about clear and effective speech and how to use pace, pause, emphasis, intonation and enunciation, as well as posture, breathing and stage presence to be an effective communicator. In term 2 we will use these enhanced skills as we collaboratively polish the performance for presentation to friends and family at the end of the term.

Registrations are now open and available via our website HERE. Please keep in mind that places are limited and it is first in, best dressed! We highly recommend registering students soon to avoid disappointment.
